Q.      Where are you getting married?

Täby kyrka is about 15km (9 miles) away from the nearest city, Örebro, and 2.5 hours away from Stockholm / Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Click on the map to be taken to the exact location of the church.

Q.      Which airport should I fly into?

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the closest major airport, with the best connections to Örebro.

Q.      Where should we stay?

The closest city to where we're getting married is Örebro. Visit Örebro has a great list of hotels in the city centre to choose from. And, of course, there's always AirBnB! 

Q.      How do I get to Örebro?

If you're coming from Arlanda, we recommend coach. Netbuss have near-hourly depatures from Arlanda, relatively low prices and comfortable seats, and will get you from Arlanda to Örebro Resecentrum in 2 hours 40 minutes. You can buy tickets onboard (although the driver might not speak English!), or from either the purple machines or the Tourist Information Desk in arrivals.

If you're coming from Stockholm City Centre, Nettbuss is still a good option. Alternatively, if you want to get there a little faster (1 hour 50 minutes) and enjoy the double-decker Swedish trains (that Marie got really excited about when she moved here), check out SJ. 

Q.      How much cash should I bring?

Sweden is an almost entirely cash-free society, so we recommend not bringing any! Most cafés, shops and even buses are completely cash-free, so just bring your card along and you'll be fine. If you're worried about high conversion rates or fees, consider something like Revolut.
